About Me

Hello, and thank you for stopping by. I don't know about you, but I find it a little difficult when asked to describe myself. For better or worse this is me.

My name is Elaine. I am wife to my loving husband, who I usually call "The Mister" or "My Hubby" here on the blog. I am a mother to two beautiful children. A daughter who I call "Goose" and a son we call "Rooney". Truthfully, even though I use these names on my blog, for their protection, we actually really do call them that. I also have two step-daughters, who we will call "K" and "J". I love my husband and children more than they will ever know.

I love all things coffee, especially when it is strong. I love my creator, inspirational books, photography, and chatting with heart friends. My life is better than I ever imagined it to be, and I don't mean I have everything I want, I mean that I could have never planned it to unfold the way it has.

I have been down some rocky roads, some that I care to share about, and others I save for the few I know can learn from them. I don't believe that anything happens by mistake. And if you are reading this now, we were meant to cross paths.

I enjoy putting my journey in print, I pray that one day my children will cherish these words. In the meantime, if anyone can benefit from anything that is said here, it makes it all worth it.
